='( I need money

Helps! I need money! Give me your beautiful cash. =D

My Dad's hopefully getting me a job at his friends taxi business but I do needs some money asap!

I technically do have money... £200 of it but that's going towards my theory test and driving test.

But for myself I only have £20. £10 Saturday when I go out and £10 next Wednesday when I go out. I won't be getting drunk on £10 will I? =S

Anyone else having the same problems? =(

People have suggested working at McDonalds... **** that!

Helps me? =( :raining:

Errrrrrrm. Learn how to count cards, then take your 200 pounds to a casino and play blackjack until you triple your money, use your profit for fun, and your 200 pounds for driving shiz.
It is legal, but most casinos break your arms for it.

...Or probably not.

Sell things on eBay? Go to a car boot sale? Wash cars/mow lawns for old people/babysit etc etc, things that young 'uns do for cash.

Maybe take a job that you don't really like just for a couple of months until something better comes up. You say you're not gonna work at McDonalds, but if you were that desperate for the money then you'd be willing to try anything. I worked as a strable girl for £1.25 an hour for a year just as some extra money to see my through until I found something better. Now, thanks to waiting a bit, I'm in a job that I love, earning £6 an hour, and doing enough hours that I get about £130 most weeks part time.

I agree, working at McDonald's is not fun, but it's a way to get money, and if you really want it, then why not? It's not permanent anyway, and you can try and look forward to what you'll be doing with the money while working, so it shouldn't be that bad. I hope you'll find something. Maybe someone needs a babysitter or a tutor for whatever, and you can get really good money with tutoring (okay, school's out now, but there are always people who study in the holidays).
just some suggestions.
take care
xoxo

I know how you feel, I technically have money but can't spend any of it yet as a lot of it is going to be designated elsewhere in the near future.

As for jobs, I'm going to start searching in August once all my holidays & stuffs are over, but my friend has been into every single shop in town looking for a job and no where needs her. That's the problem, having all the uni students back around and also GCSEs and stuff being finished and people therefore looking for jobs all at the same time.

Good luck, I'm hoping for a premium bond win this month but I'm more likely to go sailing around the world.

I see it in your eyes
You'll be alright

That's only £5/hour which isn't even minimum wage.

People can be too picky when it comes to getting a job. Cleaning may not sound appealing but some can earn more than you get for working in shops, usually without the hassle of stupid customers too. There are ALWAYS jobs available, just go to the job centre and you'll see that. If you are that desperate for money then you'll take anything going.

I have £50 left in my overdraft and I've been applying to jobs left, right and centre with nothing coming up. This has to last me for fuel, phone contract, credit card etc... I'm fusked.

Wake me up before I change again
Remind me the story that I won't get insane
Tell me why it's always the same
Explain me the reason why I'm so much in pain.

Wait...yes it is!

But yes, cleaning jobs are pretty cool. It's usually early hours, but it's money!
