Triggering (SI) - help!

my little brother just walked on me when i was SI there was blood everywhere he asked me what i was diong but i just ran out of the room. i have locked myself in my bedroom and dont know what to say to him, cause he is only 8 years old and how do you tell a 8 year old that his big sister is SI

Maybe tell him that you were doing an art project and that you accidentally cut yourself. Tell him something really believable so that it'll just be dropped. A lot of the times we see what we have done as worse then it is, so maybe he won't see it as that bad. You should try to talk to him soon so that it doesn't seem as bad. Also, you should talk to him before he talks to your parents. It'll be okay. Just try really hard to tell him something he will believe.

that would be a good idea but my mum is out almost all the time and when she is in she is studying or "having a drink" and my dad doesnt live with me
