Scary New Job
ive managed to bull my way into getting a new job, its gonna make me or break me.
im organising a tour for an international band looking to break the uk, mostly in the south of england, London area. i havent really got any experience as a promoter just got the job through luck. i dont know if im gonna get paid, but if it works its gonna be a massive awesome party! the guys trust me to sort this for them and i have a blind faith feeling that i can pull this off.
has anyone any experience promoting bands and doing tours and stuff? im bassically a tour manager, press officer and promotor all rolled into one.
im bricking it!
advice please
also, the band arent huge but they have a following, im not gonna shout about who they are here because i value being a bit anonymous.

not myself, but i know a lot of people who have done similar things. ive just got to do all of it, really well and really fast.
im making an action plan so i am vageuly organised. i'l know by the end of the week if anything is going to happen or not.

cheers everyone, i may just lend up messaging you all up about random crazy stuff
the band arent all that well known but i think they are great,
im gonna start a promo push to magazines and stuff tomorow once i get the band to clear the rights to some songs so i can get them on some cover cd's
get some interest built up and then get some gigs!
