General Medical Question - Urgent - Question about veins.
My first question is about deep cuts & veins. A few times before I thought I'd cut through a vein because all of a sudden the wound filled up with warm blood, and I could see a dark spot near the edge of the wound pumping. But I read somewhere else that if you cut through one of the "bubbles" in the fat layer, then that can pump out blood? So have I been cutting through veins or not, and how worried should I be if I hit a vein?
My second question was about the thickness of my blood. A few days ago it was so thin it had the consistency of water. Is that anything to be worried about? I have told the nurses at hospital, but they haven't done anything.

Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back, everything is different…

You should get a blood test done to see whats going on there, if you cut a vein it can be very serious and you should in all cases get immediate medical assistance. If you hit one of the fat cells and there is capilleries then you can get a quick spray/ spurt but its normally notthing to worry about and you can see some tiny pulseing.
Been there personally on a fair few times so i know what its like so i can empathise with you sarah hugs

Now we all have a great need for acceptance, but you must trust that your beliefs are unique, your own, even though others may think them odd or unpopular, even though the herd may go.

Please try and avoid veins, they're terrible things to be "Aiming" for and accidentally hitting, i know you know this, but i thought i may as well try, please, keep safe, try not to get the veins xxx. It's dangerous. Take care.

I've had that happen before, i thought they were just smaller veins. cause I dont get it every time that i hit the fat layer, its been like less than 10% of the time that it goes that deep. And i did have one time where i did go below the fat layer and it didnt do the pulsey thing. Veins can be dangerous, and you should try to avoid them. I think the best way to avoid them is to not go that deep. *hugs* please take care of yourself.

I hit a vein..was still bleeding at 3pm the next day..had to go to the er. If I hadn't gone I probably would've passed out and if not found, bled to death. Fun. -.-
Seriously, get it checked out.
