oh no...doctors tomorrow....
i have an appointment tomorrow morning.
and im ridiculously nervous about it.
im not even sure what its for...coz i went a couple on months ago to try and get help for SI and then got a letter saying that the psych needed more info before i could be referred so i need another appointment with the GP.
i wasnt too worried about the first one....probably coz it was all a bit of a blurr, telling people and what not, but im terrified for tomorrow :(
does anyone know WTF they need to know?
why is it all taking so long.
i hate it.
i hate it so much.
should stopping really be this damn hard?
i mean really.....its stupid!
feel like im wasting everyones time
bleurgh!

Don't worry about the appointment. It will probably be just so they can ask a few more questions so they can try to pair you up with an appropriate referral. Just be glad that the ball is rolling now!

I think the same as The One Who
Your GP will just want to ask some more questions to get some more information for the psych so you can be referred to him.
Your bound to be nervous but thats normal (Y)
It must be hard getting asked to come back again,
but after that you'll be on your way :)
Just take a deep breath before you go into see your GP and i'm sure you'll be fine.
Take care sweetie

Yes, stopping is hard. And NO, you are not a waste of time.
The entire process is always long and complicated, at least in the US and I'm figuring it's about the same everywhere. They probably just need more background info to know better who to refer you to--what type of therapist or counselor or whether you need a psychiatrist or psychologist, etc.
Good job on wanting to stop. That's a big step.
Hang in there
xx Monica

See I cannot feel this, not matter how you try and in the real world, there's no goodbyes.

*hugs* You're not wasting anyone's time, it's not your fault that they've taken so long to help you.
All the GP will want to do is ask you a few questions so they can give you the help most suited to you as an individual so don't be scared.
I understand you're nervous but the GP will want to make you as comfortable as possible so you're can answer his/her questions, so don't worry, okay? It'll be fine and before you know it you'll be getting the help you need to get better.
Good luck xx
