its a bit too cold for sharks atm and i think you'l be fine with kangaroos as long as you dont try to pet them.
as for the mods.. i think you'l be fine with them should you run into any. Amy and Typsee are nice and Erin is slightly loony but i dont think you have anything to worry about with them :)
