There was a fence
Built by Rain and her family.
I thought of it today. I went out and shook it. It is still strong, keeping the good things in, the bad things out. Many scars on that fence. Many tears shed. I removed a nail out of it, just to see the scar and hole
I know you may not understand the significance of this scar, this hole in the wood. But there are many reasons that I am glad it was made.
Rain has changed many things in her life. Rain is enjoying life. Rain is a new woman.
Touch my fence. See where I was. See where I am now.
You will not recognize me.
I hold your tears for you. I have a shoulder for you to cry on. I can show you and help you build that fence. And If you dont know what I am talking about, maybe I can share it again.
