Hey *Hugs* Im sorry that you slipped up. Please dont be so hard on yourself and put yourself down it will make things harder for you. Youmentioned that you were crying, could you tell us why you were crying. Slipping up does not mean that your eight days of being free from si have gone down the drain or that youhave failed. Slipping up is part of recovery. Exams are extremly stressful and i can to some extent imagine how your feeling, because i always dreaded exams myself. Do you have any support at all? Is there anyone close to you that you could talk to?

Does anyone know about your si and that your struggling? Your not hopless at all. Is the exam today? or tomorrow? Its a bump on the road to recovery, i know how upsetting slipping up can be and that it makes you feel quite down and annoyed but you can get through this. Please be gentle with yourself. Try to keep yourself occupied, you could try listening to music, doing jobs to keep yourself busy, watching a movie, reading, going for a walk or you could have a look at the distractions section http://www.recoveryourlife.com/forum...splay.php?f=22 Please keep posting and talking to us. We are here for you.

Take care best wishes Ian xxxxxxxxxx

I agree, slip ups are all part of recovery.
8 days is such an achievement and shows how strong you are, and that you can beat this!
I hope your exam goes ok, I know how stressful exam time can be.
take care

Hey hun.
Eight days is a long time to not harm yourself, you have to start off small and work your way up.
You need to pick yourself up and keep fighting because you can do it sweetie.
Hope your exam goes well.
Take care.

thanks for all the support. it really does mean a lot.

Honestly, and this is the pathetic part, I don't even know why I was crying. It's been happening a lot this week, but then again it usually does.
:( And the fact that I had cut again didn't help.

The exam was today. It helped that it was in the morning because then I could just get it over with, with which I am glad.

just...yea.

Never feel pathetic for crying. Crying can help so much, sometimes you just need to. Like people have said before me, 8 days is an amazing amount of time not to self harm, just dont let a slip-up drag you down to not wanting to give up, keep fighting, you know you can do it.
