Personally, I would choose a pale eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara and maybe a pale lip/cheek colour.
The rule I follow is that if you have a dark colour on your eyes/lips etc, keep the rest of your makeup light.
Maybe have a play around with different styles between now and Friday?
Hope this helps!!!

I think a creamy coloured eyeshadow, and liquid eyeliner with red lips. Sorta like the Dita Von Teese look. It would be very pretty with the dress youve described.

ok depending on skin tone go for a pale pink eye shadow, black eyeliner and maybe a brown mascara. lipgloss tends to be better than lipstick but either clear or a pink (lip colour)

I think a pale eyeshadow would be nice like what has been suggested! With a brighter lipstick. At the min fashion in makeup is really bold clashing colours on the eyes and lips so dont be scared of colour! also if you wear your normall eyeliner and mascara you could make it more special by adding a glitter liner over the liner or a bright colour mascra instead of black.
Whats your skin tone like?? Are you pale (more pinky) and burn rather than tan if so pastel colours will be more subtle on you with bolder colours really standing out.
If your skin has more golden tones (yellows +oranges) then pastel colours will stand out more and bolder colours wont stand out as much. hope that makes sense

It all depends on your skin tone really.
I would go for the smokey eye look.

Grey/silvery eyeshadow is good for a smokey look. I normally apply quite a light silvery colour to my eyelids, then a darker grey above my eyelashes, but if you do liquid eyeliner around your eyes you won't need it.
Hope this helps a little.

You gotta hope more,
then put your fingers in your ears and go,
"Blah blah blah blah!"
I miss you Pip ♥

I agree with what everyone has said so far. Especially the smoky eyes. The way I do smoky eyes is this: Pick a colour just a LITTLE darker than what you want it to turn out like. Use a brush opposed to a sponge applicator. Get a good amount of the eye shadow on the brush and then do quick, smooth movements to get most of the lid covered. if you want it to taper off the outside edges, use quick jerky movements to get it to taper as far as you want it to.
And I agree with limey. about the pink. It doesn't look good on everyone, so if you want to use pink, test it out before hand so you can decide if it works with your complexion and bone structure.
