I'm in AZ! I saw a usermap somewhere on here one time and was surprised at how sparse the western USA was for members. Guess there's not a lot of hope of a meet anytime soon :P

No, Arizona has no beaches. It borders California, which has many beaches. Sedona is a place where the whole scenery is red rock, which is quite beautiful. It also is a center for New Age and metaphysical stuff, which definitely puts it on my good list! lol Yeah, it's so common to abbreviate in the U.S. that we kinda forget that people in the UK don't have a clue what we're talking about. lol so sorry! yes, KY is Kentucky.

Sedona isn't far from the Grand Canyon and it has a lot of the dessert, red rock formations. When the sun is going down everything glows. Its different from the trees and such I am used to back east.
They have some great lakes in AZ - I like Lake Havasu Lake Powell (they used it for the crash of the space ship in the 60's movie "Planet of The Apes". Lake Powell in pic below

CA is Canada and California. I am from Southern California, a suburb of a suburb of Los Angeles.
Sedona is sooooo beautiful. My husband and came home from vacation/holiday via Lake Powell.
fatalperfection, have you ever been up or down the Moki Dugway? 1100 feet ascent/descent in 3 miles. Beautiful views!
