Triggering (SI) - How do I explain?

I am getting more and more worried as my brother and his family are coming home to Scotland for the summer from Houston.
His 3 kids are aged between 7 and 12.
Trouble is - he wont tolerate or even talkabout my sh. I cut every day and its become a ritual as well as a "need".
The kids are starting to ask why I dont wear short sleeves/sherts even when its hot. They see the scars sometimes and are starting to get interested. But what do I say? - The silly excuses I used to tell tham are no longer believed I know> I jsut feel such a freak and cant even get any support from my brother - he just gets furious and blames me for upsetting the kids.
How do I deal with this? The more worried I get, the more I hurt myself - I also have a bruise and scar on my face where I hurt myself earlier this year - can't get out of that one...
Sorry to moan, Im just desperate...

I don't know if this will help but I wear long sleeve lightweight shirts in the summer over my T-shirts. It is easier than putting on sunscreen. I call them my sun shirts and no one thinks anything more about it.

My husband is my best friend.

In forgiving others, we are not exonerating them. They may not deserve exoneration. Rather, in forgiving others we are giving up our anger over the fact that what happened is not what "should" have happened or that our life is not the way it "should" have been.

Could you possibly make it a more postive experince, perhaps try not to SH whilst they are down or at least to minmise it. I know i was worried about the same thing when i went on holiday a few weeks back, but i managed to survive with only minor damage and felt a whole lot better for it afterwards.
