Oh No! Im such an idiot.

Really not happy.
This morning i went for a cycle and accidentally swerved out of a moped's way and into a pot hole, crashing my bike.
A first i thought i had hit my nose and got a bit of a nose bleed, but then i looked and saw that i had grazed off the tip of my nose! (and i do mean off!)
Now i have a huge 5p sized scab on the end of my nose!
Really ugly, i hope like hell it doesnt scar.
...
Was about to say 'im not going to leave the house for weeks' then remembered theres college inductions and 'this is what you need to know for september' classes all week, a job interview on thursday, the cambridge ryl meet on saturday and then babysitting saturday night.
Oh Bugerf*ckinfrations!
Of all the weeks!
Im not doing anything for the next 4 months except this week!
*rants* *swears* *feels sorry for self* *rants some more*
Ergh its so gross and huge! Im not even being dramatic now. Place a 5p on the end of your nose and look how big it is. FFS!

I'm sure it'll be fine. It probably doesn't look as bad as you think.
I've had a huge burn on my arm in the summer one year and it was still healing when I went back to school. And I got badly sun burnt one year at a local event that happens in my village every year and it was incredibly sore to even put clothes on it and I HAD to be in school the week after it happened!

This reminds me of when I was younger and went zooming down a hill that leads to the back of our garden to where our garage is and I fell off my bike and grazed all round my waist...Bloody agonny to get in water!!

Nic.

To be honest your going to have to put up with it and if people comment on it say "yeah it ****ing killed man, I bet you couldn't put up with that kind of pain!" ;)

Like someone else said, it'll make you look hard. =P

Haha, I have to say Holly, that is quite funny. Sorry.
At least you made me smile.

Just think if it this way, at least you didn;t get drunk and play the bongos constantly for 3/4's of an hour and end up in hospital.
I assure you, facing your friends after that isn't much fun.

Dicky!

Yeah, it could've been much worse.

Just dress like a biker and no one will mess with you. :p

well, i have sown untidy furrows 'cross my soul,
but I am still a coward,
content to see my garden grow so sweet & full
of someone else's flowers.

I'm sure it will heal fine hun.... facial tissue normally does when it's grazed... I really wouldn't worry, just give it a few days and I bet there will be a HUGE difference.

Oh, and I did the exact same thing as you, but in my case it was my own stupidity rather than a moped.... I rode into a pot hole and flipped, and landed onto a triangual bit of debry which pierced my reight kneee cap.... I still have a small scar from that....

But a graze will heal MUCh better... and grazes don't scar IMHO

*hugs*

I had a much bigger scab on my nose...from my own stupidity.
When I was younger, about...oo 5/6 years ago, I was sick of the bumpy blackheads on my nose.
I don't know what possessed me or how exactly I thought it would solve the problem, but I took a nail file and attempted to rub the blackheads off.
The result? one very sore scabbed up nose, and with all the blackheads still intact. I was so embarassed I told people I'd fallen over and hit the pavement.
gah the stupidity!
But I don't have a scar on my nose

Haha I remember as a kid using my Moms chargeable shaver on my... tongue.

It bled for a while but I was all good. ;)
