marriage definately ended - how do i cope

How do I come to terms with the fact that my marriage has definately ended. We split two years ago but still got on with each other (think its only been for sake of my son now) and i thought we still had something together so asked if we could give the marriage another go but he said no. He cant go through the emotional hurt and pain again and that he cant cope with me and my illness. He is filing for divorce. I am so devastated. I feel like I have nothing left to live for. I dont even have contact with my son because of the self harm and bad thoughts. I havent seen him since january and that gets to me too.
I dont know how i am going to be able to ever accept this and i feel so lonely and worthless.

Divorce is never an easy thing to accept. Coping with it is harder.

::hugs:: sometimes people just dont understand what they are truely giving up! stay strong because you are not worthless and we all do care about you! you will find someone other then him and he will be better but you have to stay strong and be a great person!

I really feel for you and understand why you feel so hopeless. There's always a but isn't there? But having come through dreadful situations in life myself sometimes its worth battling through to find that there is a better life there somewhere, sometime. Try to be kind to yourself. You need support at a time like this do you have anyone you could talk to face to face? A friend or even your GP? Reach out for support please. You are worth it even if you don't feel like it.

Oh hun I am so sorry, I went thru a horrid divorce altho it was very different to your circumstances. Divorce is always going to be horrible, the feeling of loss and feeling so alone. You should talk to your GP about it, I had a lovely GP at the time and she helped a lot. If you dont have a friend you feel you can open up to maybe a divorce counsellor could help you get thru this... But you can get thru it. However bad life gets its always worth living for, life is prescious. Hope it gets easier for you very soon *hugs* x.
