You really shouldn't bandage around your thigh becuase of blood flow and such. The best thing to do is just bandage over the spot that needs bandaging and use a lot of tape.

Well it breaks my heart to see you this way,
The beauty in life, where's it gone?
And somebody told me you were doing okay,
Somehow I guess they were wrong.

What they do with me at my hospital is get some lint (the dressing stuff) and tape it to the place. If you don't have surgical tape, try selotape, or I suppose you could get some plasters to stick it, get inventive I guess :)

well, I use duct tape on my thighs its not the best choice as it rips off hair and if you change it alot eventually the skin starts to rip off too after a week or so... but it holds... I have the same problem holding stuff to my gut and chest as you cant really wrap a bandage all the way around the torso very easily. im sure 'medical' tape would be a better choice, but im poor, and duct tape is cheap and more or less innocent looking when you buy it.

I think i could get hold of some duct tape or normal tape, thanks for the advice!
I'm not allowed near the first aid stuff in my house so I can't use plasters and medical tape that often as I need to steal it (well, not steal but be given it anyway) off friends so only a limited supply.
Thanks for the tips!
