Triggering (Suicide) - making depression go away on it's own?
Im on 150mg of lamotrigine and 15mg aripiprazole. And they were working, it was great. I thought I was cured. I've got a new boyfriend and he's great.
But last week its all started to go wrong. Im starting to cry again, feeling really bad, not wanting to socialise, usual symptoms of depression. Ive been planning to kill myself to get rid of it. I hate being alive.
Maybe its exams, maybe its just general things getting me down, maybe its because ive drank every day for the past week. (Not loads, just a few cans/pints/bottles)
I dont know what to do. Its came back and i thought it had gone. I need it to go away, i am so sick of living like this (again). My dr cant really help so i am looking for ideas how to help myself?
xx
Sorry, haven't really got anything helpful as crashed again myself a few weeks ago and wondering the same myself - do I want to keep fighting this? I'm assured, it will get better again and so at the moment just holding on. I'm just aiming for short term things eg my sister's wedding on this Sat and then another sister's 21st birthday a couple of weeks later, etc. One thing at a time and hope that it will improve again and this time when I am up and down, maybe I will appreciate it more.
I've tried cutting down on my drinking (oops, not tonight though) as I know it helps me feel better and not sh but tbh it makes me feel more down later on. Maybe you should try leaving it alone aswell.
Sorry to bring this up but I think you have said in previous posts that you use recreational drugs occasionally, maybe you could leave off them aswell for a little while til you level out again?
*hugs*
Take care hun

Exam stress can tip the balance. I tend to end up in A&E a few weeks before my exams. How heavily are you revising? What exams are you taking in what subjects?
PM me if you want a PDF copy of the ICD-10or the Mental Health Act 1983/2007. I ALSO HAVE THE DSM-V BOOK and am a pharmacology student.
I have a visual impairment / neurological problems so I need people to type in clear text and no funny fonts. Also excuse any typos, my vision blocks things out.
I have autism and have problems communicating, PMs included.
Just becasue I type well doesn't mean I speak well. I am only part time verbal.
SM, im doing maths, physics, biology and chemitsry. I only have one left tomorrow. Ive been trying to revsie but sometimes it doesnt work cos im really tired and cant be asred x

Wow I do the same a-levels as you. What exam boards for those subjects? Which one do you like the most?
Do you work better in the morning or in the evening? Take advantage of the hours you work best at.
What is the reason for your tiredness? It is meds?

How long have you been taking these meds? When I took Abilify I got double insomnia (i.e. meds-induced insomnia on top of my normal insomnia).
I'm doing OCR and Edexel. I don't like biology either and love physics and maths. I'm going to do physics in uni. What do you want to do in uni?
