What do you think of Putin's stance on Abkhazia?

I support Putin's stance on the independence of Abkhazia. Why? Because I believe that Tbilisi has done its fair share in trying to bring a solution to this problem through its negotiations. Sukhumi has shot-down all the solutions that have been brought up. It refuses to compromise and therefore it shouldn't be independent. However, I do think the Abkhazians have the right to, at least, have their own autonomy. What do you think?
