Colleges in the UK/Scotland/anywhere that people speak english in funny accents

Well, due to a long series of unfortunate events, I don't really want to go back to the college that I was going to this past year (Canisius College in Buffalo). Nothing wrong with the school, in fact it was awesome, just some drama that probably wouldn't be good for my mental health....

So, since a lot (i.e. most) of RYL seems to be from the other side of the pond (or however you say it), I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations of colleges (or do you call them universities?) that have a good psychology program. I'm not really looking for a big school, medium sized is more my thing (that's what she said!). So if anyone knows any places....THANKS!

Everyone's crazy; some people just hide it better. I am not one of those people.

I am currently:

First of all, cost is going to be an issue unless you are quite rich. Secondly, I wouldn't pay too much attention to league tables, they aren't the be all and end all, with too many flaws to relay here.

Now to the actual universities. What do you class as big? Glasgow has a student population of roughly 16,000, but is actually on quite a small campus (can walk from end to end in less than 10 mins, not including the vet school which is way out). Do you want a campus university or one where everything is spread out over a city? Do you want to be in a bustling city or in the middle of nowhere?

Do you have any specific interests in psychology that you would like to study? Different universities will be teaching different things (relating to their research interests) so have a look at the course content for each and see what you like the look of.

After you've done all that you should have a short list of places. Hope that helps you. Or if you can answer some of the questions then we would help you out.

i dont think i have a funny accent because im scottish.

Secondly no one here can tell you where to go, you have to do reaserch as there are many uni/colleges in different cities, you have to have an idea of where you want to go.
