anyone else experiencing problems wi hotmail? i cant get in, havent been able to since last night. instead of a space to put your login details i am getting Windows Live ID is unavailable from this site for one of the following reasons:

Mines been going 'funny' for a while now. As in it'll get one of those timeout things. I don't know what it is to be honest! But it works every so often. I just have to get into hotmail through typing hotmail into google, rather than the bar at the top.
Please ignore the fact that I have no idea about technical words at all!!

I kept having that problem.... so i downloaded and installed the windows live mail client. Or you could try using Outlook, yada yada... hotmail seems to work best when you use an external email client.
You should give gmail a try. It is so much better than hotmail. You get virtually unlimited storage, 20 mb attachments, and can use it with programs like outlook or thunderbird.
hotmail is part of the microsoft company and the chances are that hotmails server has been upgraded to vista server which is dreadful and has to mant floors the which microsoft are good at but the windows live team re normally quick at sorting out any server problems
my hotmail wasn't working last night! it kept saying site unsecure and that their security certificate?? or summat was not right so i wasn't allowed it. worked this morning though?
