Gift Ideas?

So, my friends birthday is coming up soon.
and she is pretty much my best friend

so any gift ideas?

uhh, she's like preppy kinda. if that helps.

if this helps, for christmas this year i got her an ipod, a chi straightner, and some other stuff i don't really remember. last year for her birthday i took her shopping and i think spent about 200 dollars. the christmas before i got her a ipod, an ipod speaker thingy (the bear), dawsons creek seasons 1- all. laguna beach seasons 1&2. a digital camera. if that helps on ideas.

anything would help.

thanksss!

holy sh*t... And I thought I was spoiled ... I don't even spend that much on my sister's presents, let alone for any of my friends, and I'm four years older than you.

My sister's rich friends give each other Tiffany's necklaces for their birthdays. Um... the silver one I gave my sister for her 18th birthday definitely cost less than the stuff you listed.

Well, that's about all I can think of.

Take her shopping again? That way you're guaranteed to get something she likes.

Holy crap, that is a ton of money to spend on your friend! my best friend and I make each other stuff, or get random thrift store things for each other because we're poor as hell.

But if you've got cash to spend, maybe take her to a good concert coming up or something?

I suggest jewelry bracelet. I see women often like that.

i agree with that, for one of my close mates birthday back in april i bought her a post secret book, but i also made her a ragdoll of Amy Lee (who she loves) and had a voice recording made for it that i sowed inside.

Do you guys have any like "in" jokes that only you too get? maybe you could devise a birthday presie from that?

Never underestimate the power of something crazy unique from the thrift store. Are there any small shops in your area that would have something kinda unique, like some wicked scarfs she could accessorize with or a purse you could fill with knick-knacks and jewlery she'd like?

uh, no its not trying to brag, its just trying to give ya'll an idea of what i have already gotten her so no one suggests it again, k thnx.

and ever think i had a reason why i bought her so much that one year. oh no you couldn't consider that. It was the first christmas without her mom, and her mom always got her gifts, her dad never did, so i wanted to make it special for her. so yeah don't be all judgy mcbitchy.

k,thnx.

I say buy or make something personal to her. because although buying her expensive presents must have been nice and appreciated, personal non expensive gifts are also.

*Agrees *

The shopping trip ( with a fixed budget range obv.) sounds like a good idea.... but so does the suggestion about making her something personal (Or maybe that aswell)

Woah, I wish I had a friend who'd spend money on me like that :D

but yeah, as everyone else has said, maybe something a bit more personal would be nice. Are you artistic at all? You could paint her a picture or make her jewellery

However, seeing as money isn't an issue, you could do something a bit more extravagant... like, you could take her on a day out somewhere cool, idk, to a theme park or something :D

or you two could go have a professional photoshoot together, I know people who have gone and had that done for their birthdays and it sounded quite fun.

The possibilities are endless lol
