Emergency!! Calling all vets that live in the UK :o)
So, I need help!! No, not that kinda help...more like emergency assistance...
Oh my way to work I drive the M40 from junction 11 to Junction 9 Bicester (so south..)
then I take the A34 to Newbury join the M4 at J13 east (I think) to J11...
Get to the point I hear you all cry!
Ok, Ok... so every morning for the last two weeks or so, going northbound on the opposite side of the carriage way of the A34 I see 2 convoys of 3 idenitcal HGV's carrying the same cargo.
The convoys are normally about 5 miles apart....
The cabs of the HGV's are bright blue & the cargo is a gigantic bright purple corrugated Iron/Steal looking structure/container.
Now I was a little late this morning & I saw the first of the convoys joining the M40 going northbound.
So, my point is this....
I need to know where these HGV's are going! The cabs have something written on the top but I can't read it!
My OCD DEMANDS that I find out where these sodding lorries are going & need your help!
I know the chances of any of you knowing what the **** I'm talking about is slim to beyond zero but you are the only people I know that would understand my obsession with this!
If any one has any clues, or any ideas how I can search for these beasts both I & my OCD would very much & truely appreciate it!!
if I was you then next time you see one drive up really close to find out what is written on the lorry or take a friend with binoculars! lol that way at least you would have a company name to google
I would also think that googling the company name would be a good idea
Also, look on a map and see where the road might lead i.e. big industiral area, port. Alternativly, wait until they pull into a truck stop and ambush the driver and demand information

Oh where abouts do you see them? I travel the A34 everyday (although i avoid the M40 as it sounds as if its always very busy) and go a slightly different route to join the a34 instead of going from j11 m40 (yes i live in the same place, :D)
Ill try and keep an eye out next time if you let me know where abouts
Just because as before my OCD demands it - I thought I would let you all know that after nearly a year I have (well my wife has) solved the misery & the company name is...
Pentalver Transport...
...seriously bright blue lorries with bright pink writting on with a company name like Pentalver written on it!! dear lord!
Anyway now I need help locating a picture to confirm it!
Anyone bored - any assistance would be great as they don't have any on the www & a google search is turning up nout.
They apparently supply shipping containers, which would explain the 'corrugated box' appearance of the cargo, and they're available in just about every colour under the sun, including several shades of purple.
They run out of a depot in a place called Cannock, near Stafford, and have a dock in Southampton, which would explain the repeated sightings on the A34.
Aaaaaaaand...... the cabs of their tractor units are painted bright blue. :)
