I wonder why? The first one was bad enough.

wtf?
gay.
Donnie really doesn't need a sequel.
It's so easy to get lost in constantly having to present
whatever face you believe a person wants to see rather than your own

Actually, the first one was amazing and a step in the right direction for American cinema.
However, a sequel is completely unnecessary and they will not do it right. Even Richard Kelly is having nothing to do with it.

Oh. Wow.
I put it down on paper and then the ghost does not ache so much.

Gah!
Donnie Darko was awesome (yay for Jake Gyllenhaal!), making a second one will just be needlessly showy and disappointing.
Tonight I'm alive just to say I love you to death.

I just looked it up on IMDB and it says Daveigh Chase (the girl from The Ring) is going to be in it. Should be interesting anyhow.

Oh good God rest poor Donnie Darko's soul!
I bet it's some shitty director fan who's wrote it though.
It's obvious it's going to be crap due to the fact Donnie Darko doesn't NEED a sequal.

I hate that they're taking the Donnie Darko name and using to make some rubbish film more appealing to the masses. The girl that played Samantha Darko is the only returning cast member, and she will be the main character of this film. Also the words 'Road Trip' in the description just dont bode well. Its gonna be a cheap tacky sequel to a film that in no way whatsoever needs a sequel. They may as well make the film with different character names, as i doubt there will be much to link it back to the first film... oh wait, but then they wont make as much money, huh.

What a lot of rubbish!! It's not even the original director.
I hate these sort of sequels, why can't they just leave it alone.
