My friend's mum has 15 children. I think it's just too many. How can you possibly hope to give each child the love and attention they need when you've got that many to see to. Oh my god, imagine the washing.

18's not bad, but my great-grandfather was one of 24 children
But I suppose back in 'those days' circumstances were very different.
I don't really have a problem with someone having that many children, if it's what they want and the children are well cared for, there's not really an issue.

Jeez. I can't imagine having to take care of one child, much less 18! Kudos to mom and dad for putting up with all of them! haha

I can't be bothered clicking the link, and I've never heard of them.
But I don't see the problem, really.
As long as the parents can support them all and take care of them then fine, it's not really anyone else's business.

all the kids have names beginning with 'J' too .....
weird
although if they're supporting their own family then i see no harm in it, so long as she is not simply doing it to stay on benefits etc as many mothers are
but oh well

I saw a documentary on that family.. it was.. quite a strange family- but they are happy.. so each to their own.
But the names got confusing.

Yeah, I read about that on another forum.

Damn. I'd be shitting myself about giving birth once, but eighteen times?

I wouldn't want to be her X_X

EDIT: Annabelle, twenty five?? Bloody hell! Even back when larger families of, like, ten and upwards was considered the norm, I'd have thought that twenty five would still be pushing it O__O;;

When heard about the children all having names beginning with J the first think I though was when a letter comes saying to Mr (or Miss) J Duggar how are they gonna know who's it is? Kinda leads to problems with privacy

Good for them. They haven't got any debts so they obviously have enough money to support them well, their house is pretty cool too.

Where do they get money from? I hope it isn't all benefits.

But blimey the parents must have amazing patients! I'd be pulling hair out!

i'm just gonna ask where they're going,
and hook up with them later.
