Boyfriend Trouble

I have been with my boyfriend for 2 years. It had been going well until he decided i needed to get better and stuff. So he dumped me. We arent together at the minute. He says he still loves me but doesnt want to see me for a while. If this is the case why did he ask me to marry him a few months back. I dont know what to do with out him. He was my rock, my soul mate, my everything.

I dont know what to do now? Do i just give up on everything?

sounds to me that he needs a little time and space. give him that, but not too much. he says he still loves you, that means that you might get back together soon. but don't be too clingy or needy, that can often drive people away. i hope things go back to the way they were and everything works out for you both. take care xxxx

Let him think all this through, I know sometimes it feels like YOU'RE the one who should be upset but it does take a lot of getting your head round.

Well, it is no reason really to give up on everything.
i am sure he just needs that bit of time and space, no one throws away 2years just like that, and well if he is saying he still loves you then it is most likely just something he needs to do, everyone need some time every so often to just clear there head and other such.

But well only thing is don't let it get to a point where your not even speaking or anything.

I dunno if this advise is great but i really hope it works out for you (Sure it shall :]]) hope your all well and such..

Thanks for the replies.
He's now decided he is going to meet another girl off the internet. He tells me theres nothing going on between them but i dont believe him. He talks to her all the time. Shes the same age as me. I think hes going to meet her then never talk to me again!

He gave me that choice and at the time i didnt chose him so i guess its my own fault. Looking back i proberly should of chosen him.
