General Medical Question - Non Urgent - Depression and Tinnitus

I've heard that the two are actually related, does anyone know which one causes the other?

I think there's quite a bit of debate on this. Personally, I had tinnitus before I became depressed.

I put it down on paper and then the ghost does not ache so much.

Don't try to calm the storm, calm yourself, the storm will pass.

You didn't come this far just to come this far.

I am currently:

I have tinnitus. I've had it ever since I first started taking Venlafaxine, but I'm not sure if that caused it.

It's very annoying but I've had it for so long now that I've learnt to live with it.

It's weird, I've had it since I became depressed, they're just such unrelated things I would never have thought they would link. I was on Citalopram for a while and that made it a lot worse, so bad it kept me awake! When I'm not on meds its true that it doesn't really bother me though, only very rarely.
