No friends
This post is going to sound totally pathetic... I really have no proper friends. I'm 18, no job, don't go to school (depression etc.). Used to have loads of friends, most of them have now drifted away after I stopped going to school. The nearest to friends is the people I see down the pub, but to be honest I hardly know them.
My best friends have both drifted away. I've realised my best friend can do better without me. All communications have broken down. I can't talk to anybody, and I can't make any new friends. I can't even make internet friends, for Gods sake. I've been on RYL for about 3 years and I still have no special friends here. Same with all forums. Everything. Just feeling more and more alone, and it's starting to get to me. Sorry. Not sure if this really merits support or advice. x

I don't have any constructive advice at the moment, but I know how you feel. I'm almost 17 and have no friends. I'm part time in school (2 hours x3 a week) and spend most of my time at home. *huggles*

You're only 18, you're young. There is plenty of time to make friends. Are you going to go back to school? Or get a part-time job? Or join a nearby theatre group/dance class/art class/anything really. There are always opportunities to make friends.

I know how you feel, I'm 20 and don't really have any close friends. I have a job and have made a few friends through that who I talk to at work but not close friends. Why don't you do like 'The One Who' suggested and join a club of some sort or get a part time job, I know it's hard to find the motivation to go by yourself and maybe a little scary the first few times but it is the only way to make friends really. At least if you join a group or something you know that everybody else there shares at least one thing in common with you!
