I remember them! A couple of years ago I was looking at the Where's Wally book with one of the nurses and it was hardddddddd!
My brother also got a book recently. I still can't do it at 16. :P

They call them Where's Waldo here.
I loved them, but there was a series of books called I Spy that I liked even better. They looked like this on the inside. :)

well, i have sown untidy furrows 'cross my soul,
but I am still a coward,
content to see my garden grow so sweet & full
of someone else's flowers.

i remember both.
i had one puzzle island book that was amazing. the mazes must have taken ages.
and oh, where's wally. that was cool too, i had a "where's wally on holiday" one, haha. where wally was in loads of different countries.
one of my friends had a running dream about where's wally for a few weeks. so where's wally always reminds me of that now.
