I'm a happy chappy! iPods!

I am happy 'cos I gotten an iPod classic 80GB the other day with my money that I got and it had 'xANGELx' engraved into it on the back. I just wanted a pretty word on it and my mum was like 'Alyssa why have you got the cats name on your iPod?' (our sweet cat is called Angel) well I didn't named it after Angel (the cat) I just thought it was a pretty word and so had it engraved into it with some 'x's either side! Does that make sence.

Point of this thread = I am happy + randomness! And also... yay to iPod classics!!!

I had an iPod classic 80gb (white) with "It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live" engraved on the back. The back of the white one gets scratched really quickly though if you don't get a cover for it.

Yeahh I have a nice pink cover for mine to keep it protected. It's the silver one... my mum has the black one, 80GB and has a hard case for hers. I really like iPods I think they are really snazzy.

Hey that's fantastic ! i bought i 160gig classic 2 months ago and it's awesome, I also have an iphone which is basically an ipod touch but i don't use that much... have fun with it because it's awesome :)

Yeah they are indeed real. =D You can buy them off of there after you've done what colours you want etc but it's in America, but apparently ships to the UK so good good! =D

And how much did you pay for your ipod? I needs to get one when I haves enough money lol.

Brought one a month or so ago, 80gb Classic, already filled it up with like five thousand songs and a few films and still have 45gb left.

Does anybody know where to buy movies from to put on the iPod (legally)? I know they sell movies on iTunes in the US but not here in the UK!! It really bugs me.

Very cool, Lyssa. I got a purple iPod for Christmas, but I've barely used it. It's all confusing to put songs on it and I loathe iTunes so I've been using my older, less-cool one. I guess I should put more effort into transitioning to the iPod.

To be honest you'd probably have to end up downloading them illegally as they would do them on quicktime.

You just need quicktime downloadable files. ;)

cool i didnt know you could engrave them! i have an iPod 30GB and an iPod nano 4GB because im scared that one day i'll be out and one of them'll die on me so i'll have the other one to back it up XD and if that one dies i have the media player on my phone (im so sad lol) how do u engrave them? and how much was it?

Having your ipod engraved with whatever you want it usually free.

You just go to an official Apple store (as far as I know) and tell them you would like to get your ipod engraved with something and maybe ask how much it will cost due to the fact you've had your ipods for however long you've had them. =)

If you look on this link... http://store.apple.com/Apple/WebObje...&engr=3AE959EA you'll see that the engraving doesn't cost anything, and an example of where the engravement is done. =)
