Impossible?

Is it possible to love two people equally?

if you are talking about romantic love and being in love with somebody then i think not.
but your question is really vague so the answer is yes.
i love both my brothers an equal amount. you can love two people equally but that doesn't mean you love them very much. there are certain friends i have who i would say i love an equal amount to the others.
there are certain friends i have who i don't love that much, but i still love them an equal amount to each other too.
i think i'm rambling.

take what you love
burn it down.

I think you can love two people equally but in different ways and for different reasons.

You're entirely bonkers. But I'll tell you a secret. All the best people are.

i love my cats equally.
i love my mum a little more than my dad.
i love the bloke in my life more than any other, but i can still feel for others i've felt for before.

everybody feels differently. it's not a question of possibility, it's a matter of personality. some find themselves capable of loving their siblings in a physical way, not the conventional way you're 'supposed' to love your brother or sister. does this make their love any less justified? does it make it any less real? you can't judge from an outside position.

then there's a matter of measuring this love. you love different people for different reasons, so can that be equal?

This is your life, it doesn't get any better than this. This is your life, and it's ending one minute at a time.

You can't be in love with two people at once. If you think you are, you're not in love. Being in love with someone means it's just them and nobody else.

I totally agree. I think there's being in love, and loving somebody, and loving somebody is like loving all your friends. I know I love my best friends equally.

You can't lose hope when it's hopeless.
You gotta hope more,
then put your fingers in your ears and go,
"Blah blah blah blah!"

I miss you Pip ♥

You can be torn between too people you like a lot. Love to me is like when a parent and kid are hungry and there is only an apple so the parent gives it to the kid. Would you starve for these two equally? What most people call love is infatuation. Having done that I think its possible to be infatuated with 10 people - like most guys are lol.

The question depends entirely on whether you see love as a statement or an emotion. If it's a statement, then no; if it's an emotion, then yes. A statement is a constant and consistent state of affairs, while an emotion would be how you feel towards the person in the present.

If it's just loving someone then yes, it's possible to love two people equally because it will probably be for different reasons

we need a reawakening of our intention
and a willingness to re-commit,
to be whole hearted once again.
