1920s pub crawl

... for a friends birthday. basically i'm having a costume crisis
i'm waaaaay too "curvy" to work this look how it is intended (wearing pretty dresses with a figure of 15yr old skinny girl) but wondered if anyone had any ideas?
or even a picture of themselves as a flapper or such
don't know what it is about students (round here at least...) that makes fancy dress such an attraction but it's got me all excited anyhoo

This link is to a picture of Louise Brooks (a film star in the 1920's according to Miss Dita Von Teese) wearing an outfit I think the curvier women could pull off.

I would say have a look in River Island, they are stocking some really lovely 1920's stuff at the moment (stuff i would kill for)

Apart form that, Dita says 1920's = ivory skin with rouge, smudged black eyeliner and smokey dark colour on lid, pencilled small rosebud shaped lips, crimson nails, glossy pixie bob or tight marcel waves (long hair needs to be pinned up).

thanks! just had a look online,yep,lots of gorgeous dresses in river island!and thank goodness because it sounds like i can do the make-up for the 20s at the very least :)
and i quite like the whole trousers shirt etc combo, i think i'd try to find beeches or similar too...
