Maybe show her the poems. That will help you release some stuff and she will see what is going on.
I want to kiss the bottom of the ocean before I burst through its surface into the sunlight, otherwise I will always be wondering about what was left unseen at the bottom
i'm tired of chasing my dreams. i'm just gonna ask where they're going, and hook up with them later.
Talk to her, she won't mind cos she offered to see you. Does she have an office you can see her in? Just say how you feel-maybe some background stuff if she doesn't know you well? If you trust her enough, go for it and tell her everything, you have nothing to lose. Hope it goes well.
I think when you go to see her once you start it will all just come out. It will be difficult but the fact she asked shows she cares about you and has guessed something is wrong. Take the poems to show her if it helps or maybe write down what you want to say. Either way, this is a chance to get some support which it sounds like you need.
I went through the same thing with my teacher and believe me you'll be glad when you do talk to her. I know it's hard and you don't know what to say but just go and see her, sit with her and tell her you're not doing so good and maybe that you'd appreciate some support? Once you get to that point it'll be ok.
Don't be scared, good luck and keep us posted.
PM me anytime.

The only time you will find real light is when you're searching in the dark..
Hey .. Ok well do you trust this teacher? Because if you do then it won't matter if things don't come out right at first. It is very awkward at first .. well it was for me but now me and a teacher at my school are really close friends and she means the world to me.
The first time i went to see her i simply showed her my scars without saying a word and left a letter with her.. if you would like to see the letter just pm me because i don't want to display it publicly. Don't forget teachers are under obligation to tell someone if they find something out but hopefully you can work through that,
Personally i find it so supportive having Liisa to help me and i haven't got a clue what i would do without her now. I think that it will be of positive benefit to you if you can talk to her. Maybe its best to not jump in with two feet and save the deepest emotions for when the two of you have developed a trusting friendship.
Anyway PM me or email if you would like to see a copy of the letter i gave when i began talking to Liisa.
Hi,
Maybe if you don't feel like you want to tell this teacher everything, write down some points that you would like to discuss and go and see her. If your worried about others finding out, maybe ask what the policy is first so you know where the boundaries are with her.
Only say what you are comfortable with saying, you will be in control then and maybe this will help you.
One of the best things I've done is tell my chemistry teacher about everything. He chats to me, emails me and makes sure I'm OK all the time. Hes been absolutely wonderful. Hes never made an issue of it, he really cares. He'll block off lessons if I need a chat so I've got time to talk to him.
Perhaps try it? Its done me so much good.
The hardest thing is getting it started. But once you do, words will come like no other. I had the same problem when I told my mom about all of my problems. Just start slow. You'll figure it out all on your own and once you're done talking, you'll feel so much better :)
telling someone, even if it is hard and very awkward at first, will make you feel better. you could write a letter if you don't want to tell her about things in person. i've found that when writing things down it's easier to organise your thoughts and say things clearly - maybe you could write down what you want to tell her beforehand? you don't have to tell her everything at first, you may find it easier to start with little things or just general discussion before talking about suicide etc. giving her some of your poems may actually be a good idea - they'll help her get a picture of how you're feeling without you having to say everything out loud which is often quite hard.
