internet fraud-please read
hey folks
i am presently working for TNT, a courier company, as Frontline in Customer Service Out of Hours
we get A LOT of calls from ppl that have been scammed through the internet
ppl that think is buying sth, like laptops, cell phones, etc. (broke my heart a daddy getting a bike for his kid)
thing is some site or person from the uk tells mostly american ppl that they have to send money via western union or moneygram and then TNT will deliver them their goods
well, NO
they even give ppl a tracking nš and ppl call us to ask for their shipment when in reality this shipment does not exist
it's not the way TNT works
they don't transport values
they don't hold money
and they don't work as a third party company
also they don't work with individuals
they work with enterprises and businessppl
and in the us you can't do anything without an account
i don't know if it has happened to any of you or a person you know
it's happening mostly in the us where they get emails from what they think are uk companies
idk, i just thought i'd warm my fellow ryl-ers
don't know if it's apropriate (sp?)
anyways, if it's not relevant feel free to delete it
ty
love,
vrinda
