Bevan is being a very good example of his breed! Last night he visited friends of ours, he did a little wee on the floor but they'd already said they didn't mind (easy-clean floor) and was very sociable
He has already learned the command 'LEAVE!' which gets used regularly and 8 times out of 10 he will drop the cable/sock/paper he is chewing
This morning he played fetch with his squeaky football, brought it back to Rusty time after time and seemed to really enjoy it.
Then this afternoon he was an absolute angel and started practising recall in the yard. I used his squeaky football as incentive for him to come back and after a few goes he was coming back without me needing the ball.
I'm feeling like a very proud mummy today!
Next weekend he'll be meeting my mum's rather large dog when I have to go stay there but I'll take his crate and toys and hopefully he'll be fine. We've discovered the knack of settling him in his crate is to cover at least 2 sides of it and he sleeps pretty much through the night
