he didn't call *updated in later post*
ok so i posted this general because i need advice rather than help. its not as childish and girly as it sounds.
and the he isn't a "he" as in boyfriend type its a longer story which i guess i should start from a bit further back...
met a guy when i was 15 and really hit it off but he was a friend of a friend and that was it after the party i didn't see him again until 6 months later when i met him at a gig.he made the effort to call me over and we hit it off again and this time stayed friends...
skip forward 5 years and despite not seeing him all the time due to me being 300+ miles away at uni and even when i was at home we lived a fair distance apart. we made an effort to meet up when i was at home and we would text/call each other. so one night pretty much exactly 2 years ago i call him and see if he would be in the pub that we both would regularly visit. no suprise he says he was going anyway it was £1 pint night. but he was late. the band playing were ****. and by the time he got there we were getting ready to leave (which was speeded up by the fact my boyfriend gets overly jealous over this guy). so i hug him tell him i missed him (first time i had seen him since i came back from uni that term) and he buys me a drink. i get told by a firend that we are leaving NOW. so i down the drink and promise this guy i will see him the same time next week.
sometime over the next week i text this guy saying i couldnt come out because i had to be down at uni for something but said we would be out the week after. i didn't get a reply to this text but i didn't think anything of it. when the next week came i called but his phone was off. i still went to the pub. he wasn't there. thats it for 2 years. i got worried a bit and just generally confused. no sign of him at all for 2 years and since all i had for him was a name and mobile number...
skip ahead again to last friday and i get a text from my best friend. she knew this guy through me. and the text said she had seen him and knew where he worked. so on monday my day off i went to the tattoosit he works in but he wasnt at work so i left a message for him, with my number. and i know i might be being hasty but if it had been me i would have called/text straight away.
so what do i do?????
i haven't seen him and my best friend didn't speak to him so my first thought is that maybe it isn't him. but same name looks like him and has the same unusual facial piercings.
second thought is to leave it. he never tried to contact me anytime over the past 2 years. he knows how to find me if he wants. and least i know he is ok.
third thought is to go back or call where he works. i would leave it a week or so. but would that be pestering and stalking.
