wondering if anyone has had any breakages, injuries etc related to nintendo Wii?? just wondering as i have had my wii for just over a week now and my fiance just took the light above his head out during a game of tennis! this knocked all the lights in the house out and the bulb needed replacing on the one he hit. i thought it was hilarious...and wondered if anyone else had done anything similar? i have heard of peoples wii remotes sticking out the front of their TV's cos they have accidentally let go...cant believe it took us almost a week to break something lol.

It was the first time my boyfriend properly stayed with me and my family at New Year. We were play tennis and he back handed me right across the face and cheek bone. Knocked me back and made me cry with pain.
Was a very embarrassing, Meet the Folkers moment for him and it hurt like hell!

sounds like tennis is the worst culprit then!!! they are good fun but definately an element of danger there lol. my little sister complained that she played it so much on xmas day when she got hers, that she couldnt lift her arms the next day. i laughed lol.

" my precious, precious child, I love you and I would never, never leave you during your times of trials and suffering. When you see only one set of footprints it was then that I carried you" you were carried out of are lifes into the next and when its my time to leave this life I know i will be carried into the next life with you.
I wish i had my world complete again.

lol im so amused by these stories. i suppose it must be a pretty good work out if you play it daily...
that sonic/mario olympics was just wayyyyy too much effort for me lol, i dont know if its the fact that i am heavily pregnant but i couldnt do it...i think i won one race. im just being boring at the moment and playing that wii play disc a lot, with the fishing and billiards and all that lol, im too big and tired to be jumping around on the active games lol.
guaranteed when i do get round to playing something like that, i will break something though. be it furniture, windows or bones...

we had an RYL bracelet/mug incident when playing Wii a while back. On wii-play baxing matt was clearly winning when his RYL beaded bracelet flew off his wrist (over the remote!), across the room and smashed a mug. The bracelet was broken but we weren't sure if it broke on impact or if it broke coming off his wrist.
Harley kindly replaced the bracelet and we have had no further incidents!

Wouldn't like to meet any of you guys in a dark alley with a wii remote.
I smacked myself in the face and then stumbled back, decking myself with my niece's whiteboard/chalkboard thing.
Although, I have hurt my arms playing on Sonic & Mario At The Olympic Games, purely due to trying to swim faster and faster. My arms ached the day after.
no problems but it was a miracle that there wasnt, lots of us playing sonic and mario at the olympic games, very drunk at 4am.
