I'm so sorry to post I keep posting every day I'm sorry, I post too much...
But can people develop anger problems? because lately...now the mood swings have gone I've become very angry, my GP pointed this out to me and I've realised it's true...the smallest things make me angry and I just want to punch something.
My 'friend' made me angry today, she told people about my personal life again. So I punched a wall. My head of year found out and sent me to student reception who forced me to a hospital. 2 hours and 15 minutes of waiting in a minor injuries unit isn't fun!
I don't know what to do...the therapist and doctors think I'm 'healed' I'm obviously not, I'm walking around with numbers on my body all the time because i count the calories in my food etc...but that's a different issue.

People can definatley develop anger problems, its realising what the cause of the anger is that can be hard, but important.
For me i get anger issues when i feel misunderstood or not listened to, but it took me a long time to figure that out.
Did your doctor suggest any ways of managing it or did he just helpfully point it out? :)

ya ive always had a problem with anger but its a lot worse lately
like over the smallest thing il lose my rag completely

I mean im constantly writing down numbers because I need to keep track of my calorie intake...my doc just pointed it out...

I don't know what to do...please help...I prefer it when I feel numb. I like feeling numb and detached...but as soon as the anger comes in...

my mam wants me 2 go to anger management....it prob would be good but i dnt really want to.... how you feelin now?

I spoke to my mum earlier but nothing happened...i mean there was nothing useful that came out the convo. I'm feeling numb and ive drunk a bit too much...

do u go to counselling?
i used to drink alot too.....until i ran out of money lol
no seriously tho drink only makes u worse trust me...... try nd stay away from it

Thanks hun, I do go to counselling but strangely enough hypnotherapy is helping the most...well for my SI anyway...I dunno how to deal with the anger...

i went 2 counsellin for ages too nd hated it but i started psychotherapy now and it helped me the most out of anything defo
the only thing that keeps me sane is running.. swimming is good too but you dont get the same rush

I know I get angry when I feel powerless, rejected, humiliated. Sometimes my assertiveness comes out in an angry kind of way because I'm still learning how to assert myself, something that I just didn't get help with when I was growing up.
Anger can be a very healthy feeling, it's how we manage it that's important.

Thankyou, hypnotherapy is excellant its just so relaxing and like ive said before I do self-hypnosis when i feel the urge to cut...
I don't know how to control my anger anymore and I don't want to be waiting in minor injuries units for 2 hours everytime I get angry...

I guess, I think I hurt my hand even more but I'm not going back up to a+e... i have no reason why...I just got angry...*cries* im fed up of it...I need help for it but I dont know where to go...

I see the school counsellor next wednesday and thats too far away...I might just break my hand by then...I'm fed up of being angry...I want to be numb again...

wat about ur self hypnosis, could u try doing that for wen you're angry too?
i know it sounds useless but if u went for a walk it mite help calm u down,
do any of the rest of ur family know ur this angry?
