Triggering (SI) - Interesting discovery

I've taken to visiting a good friend of mine at a club he works for, and we made a rather interesting discovery the first night I came by - turns out my scars are very visible under black light. Even the scarring you normally cannot see seems to leap out at people - and the ones who don't know me have given me some odd looks....

I'm fine with this, I've come to accept the scars I have, and am working hard not to add anymore to myself; however, I was curious if anyone else has noticed this, and if anyone has an idea as to why this happens.

That's interesting. I have known people who glowed in pubs but it wasn't from the light lol.

I tried it and my scars didn't show up. The only visible scars I have are pretty small though.

isn't it the same how bodily fluids show up under blacklights aswell?

i remember somebody else made a post about scars & blacklights aswell, but that was a long time ago.
i don't know why. i'm guessing the scar tissue, or something.

anyway. note to self: avoid blacklights.

I've never heard of that but I know my scars show up a lot more when I've had them in warm water like after taking a shower.

I notice them in the shower and yes mine are visible under black lights.
