It's typically perscribed for insomnia combined with mild depression and/or anxiety...it makes you sleep. You will sleep really well on this, I promise you that. It's a/d qualities aren't that great unless you have really mild depression...It's rarely perscribed alone though, normally an add-on a/d...it is typically just used to treat the insomnia you may have. If you're taking another med that causes sleepiness, you might want to call your dr - if you want to wake up at a reasonable time in the morning. For example, Quetiapine and Trazodone...not a good mix.

This might help as is like the leaflet you get with the medication, it means any questions you have you can refer back to it love Ceri x.

I was prescribed them once. Took one small pill and got knocked out. I'm a big guy too, 6 foot and 300 lbs at the time (about 1.8 meters and 136 Kg)

I remember my psychiatrist being very reluctant to prescribe it to me as it can cause priapism, but if your a girl that shouldn't matter.

Heya,
Am glad others have found it positive but personally i find that it leaves me feeling very groggy and bad tempered and sometim es doese'nt even get me to sleep! But as we all know different people react differently to different meds!
