Make Up

I had a makeover today at a place called B which is part of the 'lush' company. It's their sister company. They specialize in Vegan make up, I'm not a vegan, I'm not even veggie but I don't think I could wear make up containing animal products.

I'm just getting into wearing make up. I had a full makeover today and my eyes and lips looking stunning.

I added up what it would cost to buy everything she used and it came to near enough £106 without brushes. Bleugh.

I guess I just want discouraging from doing something stupid. Or maybe it's not stupid....I want I want I want.

I'd agree with the above, just go boots or superdrug and buy cheaper stuff from that which is just the same

one of my friends only ever uses natural products, and it costs a fortune.
but she says it's about 83467564 times better for her skin.

Does anyone here use 'B never to busy to be beautiful' cosmetics? It's a sister company of Lush. Can you PM me if you do?

thanks,
Syrup.

It does sound good that it doesn't contain animal products but I'm sure some cheaper stuff doesn't either. However, it is better for your skin I've found but it's the cost!!

Id only invest in an expensive foundation and eyeshadows cause cheap lipglosses are pretty much the same as dear ones!

I use soap and water for that amazing healthy glow finish for my skin

I love the bubbles baths from lush the ones where you sprinkle into the bath, my fave is ma bar, =]

Theres a website lily lolo which does mineral based make up without any harsh chemicals in, im not sure about animal products but i don't think they contain any. Its really good because you can order little testers, which are just under £1, for some products. It's fairly cheap anyway if/when you decide to buy the full product. =]

Lush is... just lush. It's amazing.
'specially seeing as I'm veggie... I was vegan for a while before that too. Plus I have a major aversion to putting anything on my face that contains animals products or has been texted on animals.

I can see a heated debate about animal testing coming out of this :)
I did a presentation on it for part of my english gcse, and for the record, I think it's fine to (sparingly) test new medicines etc on animals, but not cosmetics.
If anyone wants to know more about that kind of thing, I'm sort of an expert lol.

So yeah, back to lush;
It's fab.

Tonight I'm alive just to say I love you to death.

I HATE cheap make up. It makes me look awful and it never lasts. Actually, i'll just narrow it down to I HATE RIMMEL, **** YOU AND YOUR CRAPPY PRODUCTS THAT RUN AFTER ABOUT AN HOUR.

*ahem*

B do some amazing eyeshadows but i don't use their products often, i normally use stuff by Benefit who are just amazing.

Most of my make-up is CK or Trish Mcavoy and Too faced.

I hardly ever wear make up, because I can`t stand the feel of it on my face, but I do love lush body products and bath bombs they smell good enough to eat!!

why can`t I fly over the rainbow?
