Epilators
Right I have tried hair removal creams, home waxing, the sort of sand paper things and jsut had to stick to shaving! Even then you can still see the hairs, pale skin black dark hair. And by the evening after I have shaved you can see the stuble....
SO I just wear trouser and try not to shave often but it doesn't make any difference.
So I was wondering do any of you guys use epilators? Do they work? Any model you would recommend?

You made up your mind to torture mine! If you read a scar like a book, you will relise the story in which you over look red ribbons were weaving upon the young girls skin. a trail of red weaved deep, caused by pain from within

I have used an epilator in the past, but to be honest, it was REALLY painful and did exactly the same as waxing - all it does it pull the hairs from the root. Except with waxing i'm left with smooth unhairy skin, and with epilating i look like a rather unfortunate turkey in agony.
I have the same problem with seeing the hairs even after removing them. My roots are dark so they show through the skin and it looks like i haven't shaved/waxed at all, and my hair grows back so quickly.
I stick to waxing pretty much now, although i think sugaring is meant to be good, so i might be giving that a go soon.
Sorry i haven't actually given much advice/help here, but good luck - and if you find something that works, please let me know!

I have heard that they really hurt, and it seems *Lizzie* also agrees with that statement.
I have the same problem also. I have naturally dark hair that can be seen even after removing >.<
Waxing is in my opinion the best option, although some find it very painful.

I really want an eplilator but they are so expensive. I don't think they hurt anymore than waxing and there certainly less hassle.

you really do get used to it, to the point where for the second and third time the pain is minimal, by the fourth time, its nothing.

I have similar problems to you and have an epilator.
I've used it about twice, ages ago. It's way more of a hassle than waxing (although I shave 98% of the time anyway but from occassions I have waxed), is quite painful, doesn't remove all the hair and they're expensive.
I wouldn't recommend it at all.
Sorry =P

Watch out for dog poo. Smile at people - even grumpy ones. Remember anything is possible & whatever you do always try to look on the bright side."
