[Kiss Me Furfrog]

Inner-Child.

What is set before me?
The grinding crunch of life?
Or am i made to follow suit
and replicate this knife?

I lie to draw these lines,
I twist and burn inside,
The flames they lick me dry
To condemn what is my pride.

The corner is quivering,
with the shadow of a soul,
Familiarity reaches me,
a past life so sad and cold.

If only i could reach her,
comfort in some way,
pierce heart with happyness
set the fear at bay.

Deliver spirit to my heart,
let it rip and shread and bleed,
you cannot reach me with your mind
but damage with your greed.

I see my inner child
i try but fail to save
if only i could pause this search
and trust in what i crave.

My childhood ways are gone
reclaim, control, enlight
a light shines upon us now
it shows my truth my sight.

constuctive critism welcome, i'm always looking to improve :)

Fuel this flame

Come now flame engulf me
cleanse me with your flame
wash away my sins, my soul
deliver me from pain.

Illuminate the darkness
power through in turn
see the ashes float and fall
feel the fire burn.

Straying out of sanity
abandon me with fright
let my mind die once more
shield me from this sight.

The match it yearns this strike
so close, too far from me
please catch the embers with your glow
smouldering i am free

Wow, these are amazing. I like the Inner Child one particuarly. There is a strength in these poems which I love. You write really well.

Fate

The waiting is consuming me
erase my fractured soul,
I can't pretend this dignity
my blood runs cold, un-whole.

Will this nightmare end?
as i flicker in the dark,
the shadows morphed like blades,
to drip the blood i mark.

I am fading, lost and empty,
in a world with harshing sight
deliver me from tempting fate, and save my heart tonight.

Yet again you fail to see,
the dying of my mind,
your future though uncertain,
is damned and born to bind.

Please take away this sterling,
the silver grasp you hold,
and set me free to ease my ache
but do not bent or fold.

So with this pain i leave,
to tempt my hand at fate,
for i now know you cannot kill
what you did not create.

Lullaby

We breath to live,
we live to see
i ache to die.

Sing to me suicide
let the melody cry
listen, the sound it drifts so far
watch the notes they fly.

Beam through my mind,
discover in my sleep
find the tune i lack within
demolish me so deep.

remove from my fictitious mind,
the blade i hold so dear,
replace it with your brutal kiss
breath away the fear

whisper to my soul,
your suicidal lullaby
feel my pulse drum slow
come take me as i die.

Ignorance


They follow as the rainbow blends
aside we watch with hope,
uncover their uniqueness
find some way to cope.

Eyes are ruled be blindness
programmed minds the same,
reveal to them our difference
ruined with lasting pain.

Let them watch me bleed
mark upon their inocence
show how pain should feel
murder with their dominance.

Shine into their souls
the truth but always miss,
encourage them with sight
IGNORANCE IS NOT BLISS.

The deed will be done
revenge i will serve
i trust you feel it coming
you'll get what you deserve.

Your dreams i will haunt
your waking moments to
echoe through the silence
get whats coming to you.

Give me reason not to act
beg for your life,
Sorry? i think not
your heart i will dice.

Across my bitter flesh
your blood will be spilled
but suicide may follow
knowing i have killed.

You cannot escape me
Laughter as you cry
feel the pain of my ache
tonight you must die!

Fragile Dreams

I dream of a place
where fear is at bay
sacrafice myself
its the price i pay.

Beneath my skin i itch
itch to be free
bleed to be saved.

Not yet done with fiction
escape my path with lies
mind once fogged, now i see
to believe i must survive.

Hope is fading
fear crying
lighting embers
slowly dying.

Help shines through
my fragile dreams
drifting as with sand
not what it seems.
