Getting rid of dark circles (??)

I have really bad dark circles under my eyes. They're worse some days than others, but they're really getting me down. Can anyone suggest something to reduce/get rid of them?

Thanks!

Plenty of sleep, rest, drinking plenty of water... minimising exposure to stress...

But also....

Body Shop Elderflower Eye Gel.

Something from Sainsbury's Naturals with Horsechestnut in it is supposed to be good.

When you get up in the morning, lie back down and put cold tea spoons or cold bits of cucumber on your eyes. Don't know how it does but it reduces the circles.

There are plenty of gels you can put on that supposedly reduce them.
And excellent conceallers too.

But the main part stays... sleep, good general skin care.

Tea bags work really well for me, and when all else fails, concealer is amazing.

Everyone else has already said it - drink plenty of water, get lots of sleep, and use concealer. I just wanted to add that if you want to use concealer, use a 'light diffusing / reflecting' one, as they're specificly designed to get rid of dark lines. :)

Thanks for all the advice! Sleep is certainly no problem, I hardly seem to want to be awake lately! and I'll try some of the things you suggested. *hugs you all*

You might have allergies. Smoking things will also definately cause dark circles for some people .

I don't know about allergies, but I certainly don't smoke anything. The only thing I'm aware of being allergic to is face paint, and I haven't worn that in years..
Thanks!

Here is a great free eye serum for dark circles that I found recently ( for US only though). You can get Hydroderm Eye Serum Anti-Aging Eye Complex (http://www.freeproductssample.com/hy...m-trial-offer/) value $60 Free with only $3.6 for S/H.
And if you have wrinkles, Hydroderm Patented Anti Aging Free Trial ( http://www.freeproductssample.com/hy...ng-free-trial/ ) would be a good choice as well.

Unfortunately they can be inherited, which i think mine are as i've had them all my life and i get plenty of sleep. In that case concealer is the best idea.
