everyone at my school is actually OBSESSED with this show, it's all they talk about alllll of lunchtime. i've seen it but failed to understand why it's such a cult programme - will someone enlighten me with what it is about this (what it seems like to me) bog standard crime investigation show? not insulting it or anything, just genuinely wanna know why it stands out from all the others, i feel stupid for not being able to see it x

it's amazing that's why. It's because it's like she's supposed to be imagining all the others. It's like a spin off of Life on Mars, which was also amazing!! Honestly it's the only show that I'm really annoyed if I miss!
Ok, so that wasn't that helpful, but the point is that it's good

its odd that school kids like it really because most of the references are from before they were born. I think the main reason is its a very original idea has strong charchters and a good balance of drama, comedy and action
