Exam Problem - What To Do?
I have something wrong with my eyes that makes reading hard. I got told that I was entitled to extra time for my exams and that I need a letter from the opticians to confirm my problem.
Anyway:
I have a problem - my tutor is aware of my problem, but hasn't informed the centre where I'm doing my exam (which isn't school) about this. I am now panicking. To make it worse, it's a timed exam (well, I have one hour to answer 30 questions) on a computer and I can't read that well and I can't read for long else everything goes blurry and I need to take a break before I start reading again.
What should I do?

Speak with your tutor I guess.
I'm not really sure at what else to suggest.
Emphasize your difficulties in reading for long periods and your worries concerning the exam.
I hope everything goes well, take care.

Thanks. I won't be able to get the letter back that was sent to me (the one from the opticians) as I think it's been passed on to the exam board and there's no way I could get another letter by June 19th. (date of exam)
I have a meeting with my tutor tomorrow so I'm going to see what she can suggest.

You or your tutor should call the exam center and explain to them the problem. Perhaps the exam place can give your opticians office a ring just to verify that you do have this problem instead of having a letter. Good luck.

I spoke to my tutor today, who said that she mentioned that she thought she had a 'special needs' child on the course. (me) She said that she'll talk to them tomorrow to see if I can do the exam on paper instead of the computer.
