Some of my own poetry.
One thousand violins played in the wind
All of the colours of the rainbow
Go to stop a rain of silver droplets
But it rained, rained on our love.
Goodbye, Goodbye, little sweetheart,
A kiss now and then for always
I will lose you like a story, the final chapter goes…
There it was for a time and then there was no more.
Written by me, Feb 2006; during my relationship break up.

A Dreamer
I’ve become a dreamer in order to remain happy being solo
Not to know how many years more I should remain so
I am a dreamer I sell dreams for my trade
I sing the songs that I do not know
I close my eyes in order to see my illusions of the world
And in order to watch in sorrow how much I miss nature’s beauty
And all of the times that I have dreamt of happiness but am filled with pain
They are lost to me between stars and between loves
I have touched the bottom of freedom’s heart
Who has read my soul has uncovered that destiny of mine
– to be a dreamer

Caressing My Pillow
Every midnight, you know that I think of you
I will tighten the pillow between my arms
Whilst I dream of the shadow of your splendour
And in that shadow will appear to me
There upon me a sparkling star in the image of you
Therefore you will not be far away from me anymore
You will shine in my heart as I gaze in the moonlit sky.
I then realise that it was all but a dream
I feel myself already dispersed where your image once shone
Maybe it was never meant to be
And when midnight comes again, if indeed it was meant to be
I wished to feel you, even for half an hour
So maybe one day a new embrace will be born.
As i am left to tighten my pillow between my arms once more.
