Triggering - Blazes *SI/Suicide*
I thought I would post a few of my older poems here... partly to give me more time to write something half decent, and also for you to know what I am referring to (as I tend to use some of the terms brought up through my writing to refer to things like SI). This one is one of my older ones, written around this time last year:
Blazes
I stare at you
Eyes burning a hole
In your very existence
Like you do mine.
Ears sounding out the
Silent
Argument against,
and for,
That could tear up a cyclone
In my head.
Stained cheeks
Scold me,
Berate me into
Movement
Like a
Drug.
Worse than coffee for your
Bind to my soul
I know I can not touch you
But still
I reach out in temptation.
You cut a line in my existence,
Sharp and true,
And I can not cross it
Today
As much as I may
Want to.
To do so would be to
Never
Get back.
To take off the glasses on this
Life
And bid the view
Farewell.
