Ebay.

Erm. Well. I got something off ebay about two weeks ago.
I payed ect, and it said it would be posted in 14 days. (I didn't check whether this included sundays).
Well, if it includes sundays, time's up, and I still have no MP3 player.
So I went back on to ask the seller, and according to Ebay, this person is no longer a registered user.
Is there any point complaining to ebay, if he's no longer an ebay user? Should I bother? Because I can't see how I can get my money back. =(
Any advice would be useful. I've not really used Ebay before.

Uhm.. theres something that you can do that sends an unposted item report to eBay and they should take it from there..

Postage estimates usually are just working days (Mon-Fri) but 14 days is quite a lot for an MP3 player..

If you paid through paypal try contacting them. They're seperate to eBay, I've had to make a claim through paypal before, they were incredibly helpful and I had my money back within a few days.
Good Luck.

I got ripped off once a few years ago ( for Napoleon Dynamite DVD ) and Ebay and Paypal didn't do anything after I reported it. But a few months ago I bought something that turned out to be a poorly done knock-off and PayPal refunded me for that even though I didn't return object and had only complained the seller was a con artist. So complain to Ebay and Paypal if you used them and see what happens but I wouldn't expect much from Ebay. I have learned not to use Ebay for much aside from very cheap things that don't cost much. Even accounts from sellers that look good with high positive ratings can be accounts that were hacked.

that happened to me a few years ago. i bought desperate housewives series 1 and they never sent me it and then the user wasn't registered anymore. so i tried making a claim thingy but there was nothing they could do since the user wasn't registered anymore. and i didn't pay by paypal. but this one time i paid by paypal for something that never came and they refunded me. so like other people have said, if you paid through paypal you should make a claim with them instead of ebay. :)
