General Medical Question - Urgent - 'Frostie' burn
Hey,
About a week and a half ago I gave myself a cold burn, I have never felt any pain with it, it blistered 3 or so days afterwards and now it is weeping all of the time. I am going through so many bandaides because it weeps straight through them.
I don't want to tell my parents, so what do I do? I really scared that they will find out or that my burn may be more serious than I think.
Thanks,
Sweetness

What color fluid is it weeping, has the blister popped, and what color is the skin around the wound?

Well it breaks my heart to see you this way,
The beauty in life, where's it gone?
And somebody told me you were doing okay,
Somehow I guess they were wrong.
Sounds like it might be infected. You should probably PM a first aid advisor to see what you should do.
I want to stay in love with my sorrow.
Oh, but God, I want to let it go.
If you look in the mirror and don't like what you see, you can find out first-hand what it's like to be me.
You'll need a symphony to give sympathy to the girl with the worst luck in town.
When I care, it curls me up on the floor and I swear I can't do it anymore.
u need to get it checked out though
it sounds like it is infected and that is not a good sign. maybe u need to tell ur parents as they can be more helpful than u think.
It does sound like it may possibly be infected, and you really should get it checked out by a doctor. Even if you are scared, it's always better to get things checked out sooner rather then letting them get really bad before you say something.

The pros out weigh the cons if you have infection, you must see your GP/ Doc or go to the nearest outpost (if you live in Antartica)
Now we all have a great need for acceptance, but you must trust that your beliefs are unique, your own, even though others may think them odd or unpopular, even though the herd may go.
i hv seen what can happen if not treated. i know u r scared but it is for the best.
as guardian angle says weigh up the pros and cons of the infection and i think u will find the is more cons
Those kinds of burns take forever to heal.
The pain is not bad to start with but the healing seems to take forever.
Try and keep it clean and leave it uncovered as much as possible (but don't allow it to get dirty)
