I'm in so much pain...

I'm currently ill because I have a stomach ulcer which is flaring up.

Pain drives me crazy. It makes me angry, upset, depressed, and I end up becoming irritable and it even increases the hallucinations. I also start hitting the site of the pain, for some reason.

How does bodily pain (i.e. bad stomach ache, migraine) affect you mentally?

Period pain and headaches effect me emotionally. The period pain - well, there's conflicts inside about that. Headaches - frustration, also triggers flashbacks/body memories.

Are you having any treatment for ths stomach ulcer?

Omeprazole. It works, but I only take it for a couple of weeks at a time as it can cause osteoporosis.

Headaches trigger flashbacks? Oh no, I am sorry to hear that.

Do you take Calcium? That is generally a good protection for osteoporosis.

I have to take double dosage (pills) of all minerals otherwise I get deficiency symptoms. That is on top of eating a really good varied diet.
