I want you to understand
I’m not trying to die
But if that’s what it takes
I’d rather die than be fat
Just a couple more pounds
Nothing tastes as good as thin feels
No food today none tomorrow
For the mistakes of yesterday
Just a couple of pounds
Till happiness and redemption
A few more inches off your waist
With your bones on show
You’ll be pure
And you can smile again
Just a few more pounds
One rib two ribs three
Don’t show anyone
They’ll tell you its wrong
Just wait till a few more pounds
Then you can be proud
You’ll achieve more than anyone else
Look around they have no self control
Just a couple more pounds
Till your heart stops beating
Just a few more pounds till you’re free
Every time I look in the mirror
I see my flaws
Hear her pick out my faults
Maybe if I smash it
I won’t suffer anymore
She’ll go away
Leave me be
Then she reminds me
She’s always here
Helping me get better
So reweigh, re-measure try harder!
Life’s a contradiction
Eat less, get weak
You’ll be stronger
Slowly start dying,
You’ll be so alive
Fight each day
To get closer
Closer to death
Further from life
Look in the mirror
Feels your bones
Only see the fat
Light headed dizzy
You’re not sick
You’re just almost there
Almost where?
Heaven? No
‘Cus you’re living in hell
Hunger hurts but starving works
To fill me up on empty
I’m flying high on purity
Bones on show nothing else
No weight to drag me down
I’m soaring above you all
Fuelled with pride
I’m never coming down
There’s fear in your eyes
As I get closer to my goal
I know you wonder when
But I know its now
I’m getting there
Getting better, I lie
Honestly, I eat, I eat air
I survive on air and water
The elements, the earths own purities
I’ll drop clothes sizes like its easy
You’ll be envious and ask me how?
I’ll smile sweetly and shrug
Good metabolism I guess
You’ll tell me I’m so lucky
You’d kill for a body like mine
But that’s just what you have to do
You have to kill everything within
Forget what’s right or wrong
All that matters is losing weight
Being thinner than the rest
Hold on ‘cause it’s gonna hurt like hell
But the results are surely worth it
Hunger pains, brittle bones,
Infertility, loosing hair
That’s the price you pay
Kill the chance of a future
And in the end kill yourself
Do you mind if I put your poems under my favorite quotes on facebook?
I will give full credit to you so whats your first and last name?
Nickname if you prefer for safety reasons.
Tell me to stop, it spurs me on
Say, I can’t do it, I’ll prove you wrong.
I’ll achieve greatness beyond your dreams
I’ll float away, flying high on your words.
So tell me it’s f***ed up, and you just helped
With all your words of doubt, I’ll continue to purge.
Tell me to eat; it’ll give me the strength to refuse
Because I have control, I’m strong willed.
I don’t care how much it hurts you’ll see my bones!
I’ll let them show, show through all the hurt
That I’m still here and I still just need someone
Because when it’s all gone, what’s real will still remain.
Poem - if anyone could think of a name for any of these poems i would be greatful
There’s a gaping hole inside
That food won’t subside.
So I’m perfecting my emptiness
Looking for some happiness.
If I find some control
I’ll fill this hole?
Control is power,
Delicate as a flower
With my bones on show
And a heart full of woe.
I’ll keep fighting on
For as long as there’s a dawn
I’ll break through the defences
Regardless of the consequences
To attain the unreachable
Thin, beauty, perfection
As it starts to fall away
I become so terrified
I thought it would be good
To have this control
The frequent dizziness
Isn’t empowering anymore
Each heart beat
Makes me think is this my last?
At nigh I’m anxious
To close my eyes and dream
In those dreams I’m a perfection
I can never reach
They torture me
With the hope of waking up
In the hospital to hear
The nurses say
“This ones not gonna make it”
One by one the ones you love turn away
Sick of fighting you at every meal
When you won’t even help yourself
You can’t see they only want what’s best
You know they all will leave in the end
You’ll be all alone with nothing but
The ability to starve
You define yourself as being strong
Just being bones as more show
The weaker they get
The thing you never understand is
The thing you’re starving from will always be there
Haunting you, torturing your soul
Because no matter how thin you get it’s still you inside
