By "climbing" you mean that Spider-man/fingertips sort of climbing? I'm too top heavy for that but I hike mountains a lot since I live on one. Being out in nature can help a person feel more connected. I have seen photography that captures peoples auras, and when they were in McDonald's their Auras were dullish - and when they they were near the vegetables and fruits in the stores their auras were much more pronounced. On a personal note, when I was in Uni I realised I was getting too intellectual. I was learning more and more about less and less. It felt like an expansion but it was a contraction. When I had to figure anything out I could confuse myself with all the scenarios and options I could imagine. What I did to reverse that was work with my hands outdoors for awhile after school. I restored historic buildings along the river. I didn't know anything about it when I started but ended up written about in the New York Times and other magazines within 2 years. My intuition got a lot better along the way. Even just working outdoors enhanced a connection that was being neglected. Too many people these days study too much and end up damaging themselves in ways they can't see (because they damaged the part that would tell them so lol). Going outdoors is good and something like climbing could be especially good since it forces people to focus on something else.
